You may notice your body feels as if it’s only warming up in the Beginner Mat Class, but don’t worry it’s still working hard! Especially as it is engaging with the deep postural muscles responsible for good posture and a healthy back. Founder Joseph Pilates encourages us to take at least 6 classes in order for the body to start feeling the fundamental difference. Over time, as your body works against gravity, you may find Mat classes harder than Equipment classes, given there is no support other than your body’s own structural support when finding your alignment and balance.

Classes take place in our refurbished airy and spectacular space; a reinvention of a 1930s warehouse. Come and see for yourself!
